Brand intelligence research agent

An agent that analyzed keywords, search rankings, page content, and SERP composition to produce brand intelligence reports.

Overview

Brand intelligence answers practical questions about search visibility: where a brand appears, which websites rank for the same keywords, what those pages contain, and what kinds of results make up the SERP.

FerrisDev built a research agent that gathered keyword data, checked search results, tracked website positions, read page content, and reasoned about page traits and SERP composition. It combined the findings into a structured view of a brand's search presence.

The Manual Research Burden

For each niche, researchers gathered keywords, reviewed search results, recorded website positions, opened relevant pages, and noted their defining traits. They then compared those observations to understand how brands and competing websites appeared across the search landscape.

The manual process involved extensive research and spreadsheet work. It consumed time and attention, and the repetitive nature of the task made it difficult to perform consistently. A basic scraper could collect links, but it could not interpret page content or explain the composition of a SERP.

Gathering Search Evidence

The system collected keyword data through external APIs, queried search results, tracked website positions, and inspected the content of relevant pages.

Analyzing SERP Composition

The agent identified specific page traits, analyzed the mix of results within each SERP, and used that context to produce brand intelligence reports.

A Single View of Brand Visibility

The agent replaced a time-consuming combination of manual research and spreadsheet work. Users received a single view of keyword coverage, search positions, page traits, and SERP composition without having to assemble the findings by hand.

Where Brand Intelligence Helps

This kind of system is useful when marketing, brand, or competitive research depends on repeated checks across search results, website content, and category-specific signals, and the final output needs to be a report rather than a spreadsheet.
